Shawn Blackburn, Chief Executive Officer
Shawn Blackburn is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Y-Prime and is responsible for leading the strategic growth of the company. With more than 15 years of experience in both public and private companies, Shawn is focused on enhancing the business performance of the life sciences industry by delivering powerful solutions that make actionable information available to all users all the time. In his role as CEO, Shawn is involved in corporate strategy, product strategy, business development, general management as well as customer and partner relations.
Jaime Cook, Chief Customer Officer
Jaime Cook is the co-founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Y-Prime LLC. Jaime has over 16 years of clinical trial management systems and database development experience with major pharmaceutical corporations. His systems and technical analyst experience includes positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharma Company (formerly DuPont Pharmaceuticals), Merck, Perceptive Informatics, Inc. and Cephalon. Jaime has provided on-site installation, upgrades, customization and both technical and business support of the IMPACT CTMS application at clinical organizations to enable more efficient management of their clinical trials with state-of-the-art technology. Jaime studied Computer Science at Towson State University and is an expert in multiple programming languages as well as various databases and clinical systems.
Kartik Vyas, Vice President Enterprise Applications
Kartik Vyas is the Vice President of Enterprise Applications at Y-Prime. He has more than fourteen years of leadership and experience in delivering technology-based solutions to support global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies' R&D initiatives. Kartik has extensive experience in strategic planning, process design, technology innovation and change management. Prior to joining Y-Prime in 2010, Kartik served as Director of IRT Services for Phase Forward and a member of the executive management team at Clarix LLC. Kartik first began his career in 1998 at Covance Inc, working within their Drug Management Systems division, where he held numerous roles within their Software Development and Validation departments. Kartik holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University with a concentration in computer science.
Philip Viljoen, Vice President of Information Management
Philip is seasoned professional and BI/DI expert with many years of client consulting experience in both business intelligence and data warehousing. He has more than six years of experience in application development using the latest technologies and has over fifteen years of experience in transactional and reporting database design, analysis and implementation. He has experience in a variety of industries such as finance, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, real estate, beverage/food and luxury goods. Philip also have a number of years of experience in international technical project management and coordination for one of the Fortune 100 companies and a number of other businesses. His primary focus is on data warehousing, master data management, business intelligence and technical infrastructure. Philip's passion is exploring and learning the latest in enterprise application integration(including SOA), master data management, mobile BI/Analytics and big data. Philip is also a strong supporter of open source technologies.
Doug Liberi, Vice President of Operations
Doug Liberi joined Y-Prime in 2008 and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations. Doug is focused on fostering productive customer partnerships through successful collaboration and project delivery that exceeds customer expectations. Doug has over 10 years experience in project management and consulting services in the biopharmaceutical and financial services industries and is an expert on the principles of LEAN manufacturing.
Dan Glass, Vice President of Content and Document Management Services
After serving in the US Air Force in the 1990's, Dan worked in the financial and pharmaceutical industries as a software developer. He moved into implementations and played key roles in several enterprise deployments of content management systems, working closely with both business and technical resources to design and build global solutions. While working on the client side, Dan was instrumental in selection and installation of several key technologies to support worldwide clinical and regulatory efforts including agency submission, quality and standards, labeling, as well as marketing and sales. At Y-Prime, Dan has built and leads a team of industry experts providing competitive services to support, configure, and implement industry leading products. Dan and his team also focus on designing new cutting edge best of breed Y-Prime products that are changing the ways companies handle their enterprise content management needs, including: focusing on re-use, one source of the truth across the drug development life cycle, cloud technology, and access to all who need it, while maintaining robust security.
